Rotational / Tilting Air Fixtures

 

These fixtures uses Pneumatics using hand switch to have parts raised to the mask. Then if desired using foot pedal switch, the fixture can be tilted to any angle for easy painting or even rotated 360 degrees depending on application and use.

 - Mask is made of Nickel electroform and Stainless steel


Basic Operation of fixture:

 - Mask is placed on the fixture.

Part is loaded into the rest pad

Operator activates hand switch up and fixture raises part to the mask

If fixture has foot pedal, operator uses it to tilt or rotate the mask

Part is painted   

Foot pedal is used again to bring mask back to upright / original position.

Operator then uses hand switch to lower the rest pad from the mask.

        -  Part is ready to be removed and ready to add new part to start cycle again.

Movement of the part to the mask makes painting easier, and positive registration of nest to mask assures definition. Rest Pads are equipped with leveling screws and location pins to register the part to the mask within thousandths of an inch. Rack and pinion design keeps cylinder shafts in perfect alignment while part is being registered. Available are trunnion fixtures, which rotate 360 degrees on the “X” (vertical) “Y”
